Pseudepodcast 2.0.4 – Lutheran fundamentals: Family, Church, & State

A little late to this fortnight’s game, but no more disheveled on account of their tardiness, Trent and Chris discuss the deep structure of Lutheran thought: the Family, the Church, and the State— the three Orders of Creation.

Luther thought that the Romanist assault on the order of the Church was but one attempt of Satan to rebel against the reign of God. He inveighed with equal force against revolts against the Family and the State.
